CARTA BIANCA - Installazione site specific

dimensioni 300 x 300 cm, lunghezza 3000 cm, materiali: tissue paper, cartoncino e cartoni.
L’installazione nella Limonaia di Villa Il Ventaglio, sede dell’UIA, realizzata con il sostegno di Cartiera Lucchese e SCA, è formata da stanze separate da 6 tende di carta: 2 in tissue, 2 in cartoncino strappato a riccioli, e 2 in cartone intagliato al plotter. Fanno parte dell’installazione anche le sculture uccelli in polpa di carta.
Nota biografica: nata a Firenze nel 1954, studia al Bisonte, alla Scuola d'Arte Martenot e si diploma alla Kunstgewerbeschule di Zurigo. Artista multiforme, studia teatro a Parigi con Jacques Lecoq, è attrice in cinema e TV e manager nella comunicazione sociale. Lavora da vari anni con la carta realizzando sculture, quadri, performance e installazioni.

The installation at Villa Il Ventaglio Limonaia has been realized with the help of Cartiere Lucchesi and SCA. It is formed by rooms divided with paper courtains: 2 in tissue, 2 in hard paper ripped in curls, and 2 in card boards cut with the plotter. Part of the installation also the paper pulp sculptures: the birds.
Biography: born in Florence in 1954, studies at Il Bisonte, at Ecole d’Art Martenot and gets her degree at Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich. Multiform artist, studies Theatre and Movement in Paris with Jacques Lecoq, performing as actress in Tv and cinema and working as social manager. Since quite a few years she works with paper producing sculptures, pictures, performances and installations.
