“Senza le parole non riesco a dare senso a ciò che faccio: alle immagini che arrivano da lontano. Le parole sono gli assi di legno del ponte levatoio verso l'invisibile. Dal 1991 vado e vengo su questo rudimentale ormeggio. Negli ultimi due anni l'ho avvertito assai più incerto.” TC
Nota biografica: Lecce, la città dove vive dal 1991 le ha fatto intendere, grazie ai suoi artisti, quanto ancora si possa raccontare di sè e del mondo attraverso una materia semplice elementare, a portata di mano sempre. Un racconto che scaturisce dalla necessità di disfarsi di un dolore o dal desiderio di condividere con altri un furto: aver aperto una porta nel muro della realtà e aver guardato fuori.

“Without words I can't give a meaning to what I do: to images from far away. Words are planks on the drawbridge to the invisible. Since 1991 I've been coming and going on this rudimentary mooring. Over the last two years it felt rather more wobbly." TC
Biography: Lecce, the town she has been living in since 1991, has made her realise, thanks to its artists, how much can be told about oneself and the world by means of a simple, elementary material which is always at hand. A tale that springs from the need to be rid of a pain or from the desire to share a theft with others: having opened a door in the wall of reality and having looked out.
