Dall’unione di Blocks (blocchi) e boxes (scatole) nasce BLOXES: strutture cubiche modulari in cartone che, grazie a un sistema di interbloccaggio ispirato ai pixel, possono essere “connesse” per dare vita a installazioni, allestimenti ed elementi d’arredo Progettati da Jeff Raskin, padre del primo design di Apple, sono prodotti per il mercato nordamericano dal figlio di Raskin, Aza. Dal 2008 in Europa i Bloxes sono prodotti e distribuiti in esclusiva da Marameo Design che, grazie alle loro caratteristiche di modularità, resistenza e leggerezza li propone sia in “forme personalizzate” che in complementi d’arredo: panchine, sedie, tavoli ed espositori.
Grazie alla loro struttura interna, Bloxes inoltre assorbono i rumori e sono particolarmente indicati per fare pareti divisorie in uffici, musei, stand, showroom, ecc.
Ogni singolo modulo montato è 24cm di lato. Bloxes è disponibile in Avana e Bianco.
BLOXES have originated from the union of “Blocks” and “Boxes”. Thanks to their interlocking system inspired to pixels, these cardboard modular cubes can be connected to each other to create installations, furniture and display elements. Designed by Jeff Raskin, who designed the first Apple, BLOXES are produced for the North American market by his son, Aza Raskin. Since 2008, Bloxes have been produced and distributed in Europe exclusively by Marameo Design. Thanks to their modular structure and to their being resistant and light at the same time, Marameo Design can sell them both as customised and as furniture elements, including benches, chairs, tables and displaying items.
Thanks to their internal structure, Bloxes absorb noise and are particularly suitable for building divider panels in offices, museums, exhibition stands and showrooms. After mounted, each module is 24 cm long. Bloxes are available in Havana and White colours. |
