Mariapia Zepponi – Creazione d'Arte
Mariapia Zepponi vive e lavora a Fabriano città della carta . Realizza Opere in carta fatta a mano con rilievi ispirati alle forme della natura. Oltre alla fibra di cellulosa di cotone, l’artista trasforma carta e cartone destinati ad essere buttati in impasti eterogenei, dando vita ad opere di straordinaria naturalezza. I fogli sono realizzati al tino, uno ad uno, come da antica tradizione di Fabriano; poi attraverso una personale tecnica innovativa che lascia rilievi sulla superficie, il supporto diventa "Opera". Successivamente le "carte" vengono plasmate in nuove creazioni: libri d'artista, gioielli, istallazioni... Il mondo interiore dell’artista da forma a nuovi tipi di arte.
Mariapia Zeppon lives and works in Fabriano, the city of paper . She realises hand-made paper artworks with reliefs inspired by the forms of nature. In addition to cotton cellulose fibre, the artist transforms paper and paperboard destined to be thrown away into heterogeneous mixtures, creating works of extraordinary naturalness. The sheets are made in the vat, one by one, according to the ancient Fabriano tradition; then through a personal innovative technique that leaves reliefs on the surface, the paper support becomes 'work of art'. Subsequently, the 'papers' are shaped in new creations: artist's books, jewellery, installations... The inner world of the artist gives shape to new types of art.
