Since 2013, recycled paper was born from the need to give shape to a personal, unique support, different from industrial sheets, which I initially used above all for engravings and drawings, but I have always seen in this material a potential different from the simple support. Recycling has always been an integral part of my work in all its features, from the recovery of tools, to wood to make frames, and from particular things to create textures on paper, including the water. It is a modus operandi where a clearer will has also taken over time to recover an ancient technique and give it a very contemporary look.

I started to implement its practical uses as a supply for artist, engravers, photographers and in the wedding sector. At the sametime i furthered my personal artistic research, and I created pieces in recycled paper and rust, displayed in several solo and collettive. Interventions on the paper are different, from works “Ruggine Cruda” to commissioned project, other points of reflection such as time or form take over, but what is fundamental is the realization process. Memory and traditions conservation are very important topics in Italian art. Our history is full of artisans and artists who have accomplished great enterprises but the processes have suggested the narration and the narration itself becomes strong when there is a knowledge of doing. This is what i love teaching in my workshops, to children, adults and artists.
