W-Lamp nasce a Brooklyn nel marzo 2013 e l’anno successivo apre l’S.r.l. in Italia.
Iscritta al registro italiano delle “Start Up innovative”, affonda le sue radici “filosofiche” nella San Francisco di Mind The Bridge e la sua origine operativa quale spin off del laboratorio di ricerca e sviluppo di una società di produzione pubblicitaria.
Fin dalla sua fondazione l’obiettivo è stato quello di declinare il know how accumulato in ambiente di comunicazione, stampa e cartotecnica nell’ambito del design e dell’arredamento innovando sia in termini di contenuti sia di processi di filiera. Per questo abbiamo implementato nei nostri progetti stampe con inchiostri speciali per la conduttività elettrica, ricerca su chimica e tecnologia dei materiali, sostenibilità ambientale e attenzione alla provenienza etica dei materiali. Abbiamo messo a punto lavorazioni speciali e taglio laser acquistando sistemi industriali e modificandoli per le nostre esigenze anche sviluppando porzioni di codice e software proprietari; arrivando a depositare alcuni brevetti e diversi “modelli funzionali”.

W-Lamp was born in Brooklyn in March 2013 and the following year opened the S.r.l. in Italy.
Registered in the Italian register of "Innovative Start Up", it has its "philosophical" roots in the San Francisco of Mind The Bridge and its operational origin as a spin off of the research and development laboratory of an advertising production company.
Since its foundation, the goal has been to develop the know-how accumulated in the communication, printing and paper industry in the field of design and furnishing, innovating both in terms of contents and supply chain processes.
For this reason we have implemented in our projects prints with special inks for electrical conductivity, research on chemistry and technology of materials, environmental sustainability and attention to the ethical provenance of materials.
We have developed special processes and laser cutting by purchasing industrial systems and modifying them for our needs also by developing proprietary portions of code and software; until filing some patents and different "functional models”.
